Bushel &  Berry® Raspberry Shortcake® raspberry is a new thornless deciduous shrub with a compact rounded habit suitable for small containers.  The small white flowers bloom in spring give way bright red raspberries in summer that has a sweet taste with a hint of vanilla essence. deepen to near-black with maturity.  Grows best in full sun and rich, moist, slightly acidic well-drained soils.  Shortcake requires 800 chill hours for full fruiting potential.
