Paeonia lactiflora 'Coral Sunset'  - Coral Sunset Peony

Coral Sunset Peony is a herbaceous perennial with sturdy upright stems that sport glossy deep green leaves.  The large softly fragrant coral pink semi-double flowers with golden stamen warm to salmon-ivory with age and bloom heavily in late spring.  Prefers afternoon shade in southern areas and well-drained soils.

Scale, Mealybugs, mites and beetles are occasional problems. Powdery mildew is common in fall but harmless.  If the plant doesn’t flower it is likely planted too shallow/deep or in too much shade.
